Hey,
Paige here.
I suppose you're here to read more about me. Well, here's the dealio...
I'm from a small town outside of Pittsburgh, PA (BLACK AND GOLD!) and made my way to NC around the age of 14. Dancing, writing, and cooking were my passions from a very young age. It wasn't until after I got pregnant at 15 and had my son at 16 that I found my love for photography. I remember my mom taking my son and I to get his pictures taken for his 1st birthday, I think it was Sears photo or maybe JCP...who knows, it was in the mall! I remember going through the photo packages and her letting me have some say so and looking at the prices, I was shocked! Granted I was 16 and didn't quite have a full grasp on "the value of a dollar", but I was not ignorant and knew it was not cheap. I remember thinking, how do people afford to do this more than once a year? Family photos too? You have to pay if you want more time to change an outfit?! Why does it have to be so expensive, it's just a photo? I didn't get it.
I often caught myself staring at my son while he was sleeping and wished to bottle every moment. The way his ears were so paper thin, you could almost see through them! The way his top lip popped open and out when he was deeply sleeping. Every wrinkle on his toes. I wanted to remember it all...so I started taking photos of him, myself. I started catching goofy moments that made me belly laugh, and sweet moments that made my throat tighten. Everyone should have some of these to look back on I thought....
Fast forward many years and my soul mate walked into the bank and pulled me out of one of the darkest points in my life. He saw my passion and felt my drive, he bought me a camera.
I haven't stopped taking photos since. Any opportunity I can get I take it! I have also built some amazing relationships with people along the way. I have had the chance to see families and babies grow. I have watched businesses take off! Most importantly, I have not fallen short of my goal to be affordable to EVERYONE.
I am a safe place to anyone.
There is no judgement passed or tolerated, ever. I believe in human rights and real equality that involves bringing people together.
I am open to ideas and brainstorming sessions for any and all occasions!
The Process

01. Connect
I have a quick pop quiz for you to take before your session date. I love getting to meet new people and learn new things!! Whether it's a brainstorming session, or a scheduled chat before we start snapping photos, I want to hear your story.
Share your story

02. Conceptualize
Tell me what you hope to see in your pictures. What is your goal? Why do you want photos done? Beyond the "it's been a while", I want you to think a little deeper than that.
Not sure? That's okay!! Let's brainstorm together!
Develop Your Vision

03. Create
It's go time! The most important thing to remember is to relax and just be YOU. That's where the most amazing photos are born. And remember, there is no one more awkward than I am haha!!
